Hello guys.
Im not a classic "rookie" at CE. but also not an expert.
I have some expierence on CE., but the thing is I cant find the dmg. on Monster Hunter World.
Has anyone some hints for me?
I have tried attacking always 1x time and searching etc. etc.
Started with NO fast scan, and Unknown initial value + Value type: 4 byte
Hit -> 27 DMG.
Search --> changed value
Hit -> 22 DMG.
Search --> changed value
After 20-30 hits + changed value every time, there were 6-8k left.
then I have choosen
Hit ---> increased value ? (May this was the worst part?)
---> hit, hit ,hit
---> increased value, increased value, increased value.
Do you think guys increased value has fucked my scan?
Has anyone other ideas, or some hints I could try ?
I realy wanted to get this by my own as always, but its hardcore to get that numbers for the dmg calculator lol.
I know the sharpness, and weapon type has something to do with the dmg. output.
I know my hp is 100 (unbuffed)
I can't see the enemy hp. its unknown
I try new things out, hopefully someone has an additional idea.
Greeds.,

First, just know sometimes it takes more than one try to find it, I guess, I just mess up somewhere and have to restart; so persistence is key.
But, some stuff to also try:
- You could try and find the combatant health, and use that to find or figure out the damage. Use buffs, or duller weapons, to get them to last longer; if needed.
- You could try and find the "sharpness" of your weapon and trace from there.
- You can try and find some weapon's structure and see if you can find it's damage value, by looking through the weapon structure in the "dissect data structure" tool. This can be done with any value really; so level, price, or whatever the weapons seem to have.
- One that works pretty good for me: Get 2 weapons; one with low damage, and one with high damage. Start scanning with float type and "unknown ... value". Then just swap back and forth while scanning for; increased, decreased, and unchanged; accordingly. Then when you get it down to a few addresses. Just select the weapon with more damage, then freeze an/some address(es) and select the one with less damage; Then just use it to see if you have increased damage until you get it down to one address. You might even find sharpness and damage this way.
But this method relies on the game having a "current weapon" structure, but it tends to work for me.

Helllo!
Thanks buddy so far.
I have tried the 4t method, but it doesnt work. It seems the dmg. calculation is realy deep and not that simple to catch.
What do you mean with your 3 method?
I can see the weapons prize, "damage value"
it costs 6700Z and has a basic dmg. 576. and for how much I can sell it.
The thing is, I can find the value of "576" but I cant freeze it to 1000 as example, it throws me back at 576 even if I press frezz.
Your first method is real good:
I got a basic damage of 576 and boosted me up to 624.
no fast scan, value type: value, and unknown intial value.
576 --> 624 --> increased value
624 --> 576 --> decreased value
done this about 50-100 times.
then Ive changed no value and used "unchanged value"
so after more and more trys I stay now at 182 Adress.
but even with frezzing I cant change any value.
as example: 0.3000000119 is the BUFF value from 576 to 624.
when the buff dissapears the value changes back to "0"
for real this is a very deep selection.
I think they "souldbound" to each other, or ?
Currently I try with your first method.
If you got any other ways I should try out, please lemme know.
Thanks so far!
