|
| I am playing around with Cheat Engine again, and managed to find enemy health values easily. But I want to achieve making an enemy npc's faction being on the player's side. I have no idea how I would achieve this, as there is not anything in the game that already does this so it makes it a bit harder.

the game differentiate enemies from allies and player.
its usually done by checking some members of player/npc entity, maybe '1' used to indicate this is the player, and '0' for enemies. (or any values)
anyhow, its possible only if the game have AI-Allies by flipping the number of that member of enemy npc.
otherwise you need to write your own ai function. (which require lot of work)

| Ok it might not be that bad because in Medal of Honor Frontline some levels you have ally soldiers which seem to be complete copies of the enemies since they use the same animations. I guess I should get both an ally and enemy and dissect the data structure and compare?
