Hey,

There seems to be a bug with CE if you have a debugger active in a process for instance find what accesses/writes to this address and then proceed to do a memory search for something, CE will freeze up forever until you End Task it.

I have this bad habit of not saving very often, and sometimes i simply just forget to disable the debugger when starting a new array of byte search for instance ending up losing hours of work when i have to End Task Cheat Engine. Happens more frequently than i care to admit Wink

in settings add use the option to let the debugger wait a bit for gui updates
see if that works better

I can't replicate it (using windows 7), and I don't remember any other posts with the same problem. More information could be useful:

OS name, system type, and build version
Processor
CE Debugger settings
CE version (6.7? 32-bit or 64-bit?)
Targeted software (Does this happen on the tutorial? 32-bit and/or 64-bit?)
