firstly, i would like to say that i only know how to use exact value,decrease by,etc. please try to keep your answers simple.

i want to use a few cheats that i found online but all i found were these codes which i believe are scripts
eg."96 02 00 08 04 4e 96 02 00 08 05 1c 0b"

all i want to ask is how do you use them?and if possible, how do i understand them?

You click the little box next to the scripts that you'd typically use to freeze values. If they work a check mark will appear (it may take a few seconds to scan the program for the array of bytes)
