| It seems counter-intuitive, but refurbished things tend to last longer than an original model. Once it gets sent back to the factory once for refurbishing, they try to make sure it doesn't need to get sent back again.

yeah, they wouldnt promise warranties unless they are absolutely sure that enough of the items will last beyond that + taking into consideration the amount of people who would actually take the item back. just expect things to break after the warranty, or fuck the item up yourself and get a new one before the warranty ends (take the thermal paste off the cpu or something and let it fry, some slime shit for u niggas)

refurbs are basically good as new and are less likely to have issues since they've been inspected by QA like others have said
it's not a great laptop but it's a great deal

Condition was great, no scuffs or scratches and was free of dirt. My mother loved it as a mother's day gift.
