???

The media is far from authoritarian center, and definitely not on the right (besides fox), like wtf are you on about? I bet you think the BBC is unbiased.

"Chomsky himself" oh wow THE Chomsky? The same who said Trump supporters were going to fake a terrorist attack to further their agenda? Sounds like a reliable, nonbias source to me!

Noam Chomsky has said some dumb shit many, many times. I don't care about his political opinion in the slightest. Also what HackOtaku said.

Hey Kyle when you flat out call people retards like you do you don't exactly come across as arguing your point very well. Just seems like you're being a cunt. You've called pretty much everyone person on this forum a retard at one point or another in these discussions, even when people have been right and you wrong.

"Everyone who doesn't think like me is an idiot" - The Liberal Narrative

Kyle, how many times have I had to show you the truth when you post liberal bullshit? You are the blind one. If anyone says anything anti-Trump, you side with them automatically.

Do you even know what the term retard means, it doesn't people who are stupid, or who I have negative feelings towards, it's just that you're slow and you don't understand what I'm talking about. It totally comes from a loving place. You're just too retarded to understand what im talking about.

Yes Chomsky has said some stuff that may or may not be true, but so have you guys, so has anyone else on this god damn planet. So are you going to completely judge the integrity of an entire man's career and value in the marketplace of ideas, by one measly cherry picked quote that has nothing to do with what we were talking about? Ok.

Do I SERIOUSLY have to go through Trump campaign promises that have already turned out to be lies? Would you honestly rather trust somebody like Trump and what they have to say, over somebody like Chomsky? someone who actually has read the constitution of our country.

What are the main liberal points you believe THAT I BELIEVE, and I will show you what I actually believe, because I honestly think you're grouping me in with the lump of shit that is the democratic party too much. I was registered as an independent when I voted.

Holy shit, this has got to be the most bullshittiest thing from you yet. Ask if we "even know what retarded means", then make up your own definition on the fly. Retars definitely DOES mean anyone you disagree agree with, because you are using the insult form. Unless you are being a LOL SO FUNNY cheeky little cunt, then you know no one here is literally retarded (except Talix), so save your shit.

The reason I pointed out his ridiculous quote about terrorist attacks was to highlight that he is an anti-trumper, so he's going to keep saying crazy shit about them, which we shouldn't take too seriously. (Like the republican party is an insurgency)

Ffs, Trump has read the god damn constitution. It's this "better-than-you" attitude that makes you seem unintelligent. Only high school kids and younger and saying shit like that, oh and the liberal media. Lmao dae trump doesnt know the constitution??? The fact that you are using "he has actually read the constitution ", shows you are blindly anti-trump.

We group you in with the democrats because you:

-Blindly hate trumps and blindly support anyone who opposes him
-Share bullshit liberal articles how how Trump is basically hitler
-You think you know "better" than anyone who disgarees with you
-Thinks the republicans are the biggest problem on the earth despite being "independent
-You keep saying shit, can't back it up with facts when your feet are to the fire, but still think you are correct somehow

So basically it's because you act just like them.

It's funny to hear the repetition of this unsubstantiated talking point almost constantly.

The media bias comes from the fact that news outlets are run by large corporations which don't approve of reporters chewing their own face off. There is also more bias which comes from the fact media is trying to sell a product to consumers which for the most part don't enjoy hearing about current events where people have long boring meetings on public policy, and someone gets hurt or killed. How often have you heard "I don't watch the news because it's so depressing." So now we have a bunch of cooking and fashion shows where current events used to be. To make the reports more sensational they want to put a green screen behind the reporter sometimes to pretend he is actually on the scene. Then they don't want to say bad things about a certain candidate because that is who the corporation is paying large sums of money to for policy decisions which benefit that media outlet. Those might be left or right leaning candidates but I've never seen any objective analysis by anyone making assertions which party is being favored.

So there is a lot of bias in the media which mainly favors corporations and consumers and by favors I don't mean it's necessarily helpful to them but that it gives them what they ask for so you can't trust anything for absolute certain but you have to use some critical thinking and deductive reasoning and I think most people do.

lmao, if you can't tell that almost all major media is left-wing, you need to stop talking about critical thinking and deductive reasoning, and actually start using them.

If you think a media outlet is totally biased down one side of the political spectrum then prove it. I'm not talking about alternative outlets like KOS or Breitbart either. You need to show evidence of the mainstream outlets like one of the big networks.

Surely you heard about at least this story.

Clearly editing and lying to try and push a narrative that inner city black people are peaceful and the police are just gunning them down. (which party is all about appealing to minorities again?) What advantage do they have by editing out the footage? If they had no bias at all, why did they spin it? And they only fessed up on this because they got caught, what do you think they haven't confessed?

How about the fact that CNN wants the DNC to give them questions to ask republicanns

Does none of that sound like bias?

Still not enough?

What do you think about John Harwood (CNBC) gloating to Podesta about questioning Trump?

Or maybe The Washington Post asking thier good friends at the DNC for anti-Trump stuff and then later using a huge chunk of them to create their "news".

You ask if this sounds bias but that is not the question. The question is whether this is politically bias toward one party.
>which party is all about appealing to minorities again?
So this is the question that gets to the crux of the matter and you really have to open up your perspective and ask yourself which party appeals to minorities and whether you believe parties should appeal to minorities. Do you think political parties should not appeal to minorities? This turns it into a fairly complex issue. How is there an advantage by a single party if there is a distorted point of view of a situation in the inner city or poor areas? There are a massive number of personal and political questions in this situation determining if a political party gains an advantage by a distortion of social justice.
So the political bias in that matter is yet inconclusive.

As to the wikileaks article you linked to I will have to look into it further and see what it's all about I'm not sure yet.
Now you have more links that I didn't see before so I will need to look at them too.

It's just an example of a symptom, the dishonesty so apparent in the media. So at least you know they willingly lie to you, look who they whisper to, and tell me if you think they have any kind of political agenda. Join the skeptics.

I would like to ascertain whether CNN was looking for questions only from the DNC and no one else. These emails are all from DNC members. I see no where in them to indicate CNN sent a request to the DNC for the questions. Are you sure CNN did not make a public request independently of the DNC?

HackOtaku wrote:

I see no where in the DNC email or Washington Post article of a link of correspondence between DNC and Washington Post.

This looks to be incriminating of John Harwood as a lefty journalist. I am not arguing that the media is not politically biased but that it's bias is not all one sided so would it be fair if I find a righty msm journalist to counterbalance this guy?
