I try to make a custom protocol as follow:
1> open "regedit"
2> find HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Magnet as a template, export it to a *.reg;
(or some simple protocol having sub key "URL Protocol" )
3> use an editor to find and replace "Magnet" to "CTURI";
4> click the modified *.reg to import the custom protocol;
5> open or restart a browser, open a url of the form "CTURI://sometext", the result is shown as picture.

To complete properly handle your custom protocol, you need to make the appropriate application handler *.exe in "...\shell\open\command]", (and may be appropriate content-tyep, icon etc ).
And when INSTALLing your trainer that able to handle your custom protocol, ask the user to import/register the custom protocol.
