I mean like in the history of recorded time!!
Is there like some kind of fascist rule preventing it or something?
Instead of C D E F G A B/standard pitch intervals why hasn't anyone tried to make music using 100hz ("intervals") e.g.
Like for example(decimal)BASE 10 (Interval) notes.
Note 1 100hz tone
Note 2 200hz tone
Note 3 300hz tone
You could even have BASE 16 (Interval)notes if you wanted to maybe..
Have the notation syntax in hexadecimal.
I mean its not like musicians are being controlled by an evil elite to
ONLY USE Well Tempered 12 TET now is it.
There isn't a standard on what paints to mize for visual art i don't see why
"Auditory Art"(MUSIC) has to have some kind of heavy bureaucracy of standards laden on it, compared to visual art.
If I can use any colour, or variation, tint, hue, saturation, lightness, opacity etc of colour I want, why cant musicians have the notes at any Frequency-interval they want?
