| Hello ! I 've got this question. I have alot games, that either i can see a value that i want to change, but i cannot change it(it chands back to the original value), or it is impossible to find the values due to the protection that the game has. But i see alot of people hacking these kind of games. How the heck they do it ? Are they any other programs that i should use ?? And also.... is there a way to detect what anti-cheats are active on the game ? Thanks!!

Technically if you use code injection, you will change the value to what you chose. That's a step part of the cheat engine tutorial. (find out what writes to variable.. show in memory, ctrl+A, ctrl+i then inject code)

Sometimes values are encrypted however it is never impossible to find them. You can always find the displayed value and backtrace them to the "true" values

Yeah i know this process. But the thing is that whenever i do that, the result is to change only the value "on-screen". Not the actual value. My writing skills are a little bit bad, but i hope you 'll understand what i am talking about.
I also tried to lookup for pointers... nothing came up.

If its a display value then you need to do an unknown value search. It might be encrypted etc.
If its an online game then you're SOL as the values are stored server side.

Debug the value you found and trace around the function(s) that are used to set the visual value. Chances are you will find where the actual value is being set as well.
