I'm playing Bravely Second, and I was able to find and modify the gold value.
But I can't seem to find the values for exp or jp gains.
For example JP for one of the jobs is 86. Tried fighting a battle then searching for the increased value, no luck.
Tried searching for unknown value, then increased by (amount of JP gained in battle) - no luck.
Tried searching for the exact amount of JP gained per battle. One battle it could be 3, another battle 1, or a boss battle 20. No luck.
Tried searching under byte, 2byte, 4byte, 8byte, float, double, string - no luck.
I'm not familiar with any of the more advanced features of CE, so I'm looking for help finding exp/jp value just for this game.
**Edit** - I even tried searching unknown initial value, then "increased" value for "all" value types, and even couldn't isolate the values for exp, or job points.
I've never seen anything like this happen in a game, ever. Should have came up with something. I narrowed it down to 33 values, and I modified each of them 1 by 1 until I went through the list, and none of them had any effect on exp/job points.
If none of that works to find the value, then what else is there to be done?
I can't find the value for what stores the number for the total of job points acquired for specific jobs, nor I can I find the value for the amount of experience or job points gained in a battle. I've tried searching for both.

I found the value for total JP obtained for a specific job. I had to search "unknown initial value" and then searched "increased by #" for the amount gained per battle until I narrowed it down. I couldn't find the actual number because it just piles up the total JP gained when you go to the next level. For example, to get to level 2, you need to get 30 jp, then the # starts at 0 again, and you need to gain 100 more. So If you're level 2 in a job and have 50/100 JP, the real number to search for would be 80, not 50. Get in a battle, gain JP, then search for 80 + JP gained in the fight. It's a 4 byte value.
