Im waa wondering if i can be vac-banned for using cheat engine on singleplayer. I've searched a direct answer on the steam forums and here and not found any. Thanks in advance.

Nope. VAC has nothing to do with sp part of games

There are some games that do utilize VAC in single player (such as some of the Resident Evils) which you can become VAC banned while hosting a server or playing single player and using certain things. It is uncommon though for games to make use of VAC in their single player modes if they do use them in their multiplayer though.

Resident Evil 6 does have a VAC, but I don't think it is actually enabled / properly implemented.
