I haven't looked at the assembly tutorial on tutorialspoint, but from what little I've seen with other languages, the information on that site is incomplete, misleading, and sometimes outright wrong. If you're completely clueless, it might be adequate at giving an informal (and perhaps incorrect) introduction to assembly, but I wouldn't recommend it for anything.
Just start messing around with some games and see what you can do. Try to pick games that already have tables for them so you can see what other people's scripts look like. _________________
I don't know where I'm going, but I'll figure it out when I get there.

REALLY?!
You could be right, I don't claim to hold enough authority to know either way. I'm slightly noobish, so I wouldn't be able to tell either way.
At any rate, tell me what you think of the Allen Wyatt book I mentioned in your next reply. Click on the Amazon link
I have a version of that book that looks like it may have been written in the 80'S.
It's over 3 Inches thick. And its got an amazing musty book smell as i got it from the computer/IT section of the Oxfam(I live in England) charity book shop. I have found a picture of the cover it has online, here it is:

Thankyou for all your help and support guys. You all said some great things that were all very insightfull. I'm still going to give codingground a go though. And if they turn out to be charlatans then i'll know soon enough in due course.
