My Pc is running windows 8.1 and it's 64bit pentium ,now I installed a virtual machine of which I wanted to test run with the same specifications. I want to install some programs which runs as a driver (I just got into driver development)
Question is this - patch guard. I'm new into api hooking on kernel (ring 0) on ring 3 it's kind of piece of cake as I can use a detour library to detour and add several functions, but this patch guard deprives me of several things as I haven't been able to make out a clear method to bypass patch guard. |
