Need help editing weapon damage in Dark Souls 3.

I'm new here and also a rookie with CE in general.
I have tried a few things now to gather weapon info inside DS3 and I can't seem to even get far.

I saw a video on YT with a guy that had a weapon with 20,000 Damage and I am trying to figure out how I can go about editing my favorite weapons in the game to do more damage and not edit my player stats to achieve this.

Is it possible to find weapon stats and change the physical damage values? and if so where should I start/how would I go about finding how to do this.

Yeah so something like that where I can change the base values of the weapon damage from say 1xx to 5xxx.

This video shows how to change weapon damage but in DS1 and doesn't explain how he even found these values in the first place.

But this is what i'd like to do.

In a nutshell, this is what you need to do.


Immediately after you shoot an enemy, you search for the value that is done to the enemy.... This may be hard if there is no "damage indicator" though.

So lets say you attack an enemy and it does 34 damage... You need to do an initial scan of 34. Attack again. If it hits 24, do "next scan" 24... So on and so forth until you get just a few addresses.

Once you find the address(es) which handle this, freeze it.


^^ That's the basic idea. However, a simple approach like that obviously won't work for all games. I know nothing about DS3.
