It is just fine to have it give no additional point count and randomly give a + as a reward. I don't want to spam and all of the other forums are pretty much dead, but posting links with script in them to bypass just makes less people go to your links. The random rate of positive post count from posting in RS is so low it wouldn't even change much, but it might help keep this forum alive if we can actually do things like PM, post links, and change profile pictures.

i have like 200 legit posts and probably thousands in RS.
and now my posts are at a level of invisibility and it hasn't been explained why.
DB doesn't give a shit about being just. don't expect rational change |

Clifford if you would do that I would change my entire opinion about you.
Talix he should if he wants the last vein in this forum to stay alive... no one wants to go to other sections just to get our posts back up to share links and such. The only other section really available is art lol

yeah, i suggested we have in general discussion or random spam subforums, one for philosophy and comparative religion, the other politics/international affairs.
that way, it would force legitimacy for those topics, instead of troll, it would encourage and foster intellectual, legitimate discussions.
and, legitimate posts on decent topics, instead of /actual random spam/ would give /legitimate post count/.
but apparently no one has faith in the capacity of the forum members to accomplish rational discussion.
in fact, in posting information you get made invisible. |

What do you mean by that? You probably lost your posts because you posted o-o
Pretty easy to lose 200 posts with the negs being much more common than positives. I have around that amount at least myself. I have 2-3 other accounts with a couple hundred on them, but I forget the emails and passwords :\

open an incognito browser so you're signed out of CEF
then look at the topic list of random spam signed in vs signed out
up until a few days ago, my threads were public. now they're invisible. |

you dont have to remove post counts, just remove the limits for posting links and such, its an option within phpbb
the reason for this is because bots make account then try to post links asap, they don't spam to incirease post count so they can post links
its a pretty big deal, if db doesnt do this the forum will get flooded that same day
