You're so far off the point, holy shit. I don't know how else to explain this to you and I can't understand it for you.

yeah, well, it would help if you understood either narrative in the first place instead of placing someone's interpretation as the seal of truth... l0l
HE IS NOT SAYING THAT WHAT HE'S SAYING IS THE TRUTH
HE IS LITERALLY TELLING YOU THAT IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE "TRUTH" OF WHAT HAPPENED
HE LITERALLY TOLD YOU THAT HE DOESN'T BELIEVE IT HAPPENED
HE'S TALKING ABOUT THE QUOTE OF THE AUTHOR AND SAYING IN THE CONTEXT OF HOW THE AUTHOR USED IT AND WHAT BOOK HE WAS TALKING ABOUT HE THINKS IT IS RELEVANT

HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU SO DENSE
WOW

Whoops misread the wording. I'm saying I didn't get trolled and you didn't "obviously note all of that". You just implied in the post I responded to that he was "placing someone's interpretation as the seal of truth" which is something he said over and over he was not doing (and pointed out that the truth of any of it wasn't even relevant) and you just ignored it lmao

i obviously understood what he was operating off of.
i was just informing him that the narrative he was operating off of, was of mistaken interpretation.

have your cake and eat it too, you know? :\

and i am pretty sure i noted that it did not take away from the author's point or justin's point. it is just to note the misinterpretation. "that doesn't make our points mutually exclusive"; we both had ours. i don't know if i gave an apology but if it seemed like i was detracting from his point i apologise, it is not ok to accuse someone of adultery even if it's just for prose.
similarly, if you're going to misattribute someone's actions, don't be surprised if someone wants the truth to come to light.

"et tu, brutus?" comes to mind. Shakespearean invention but no true basis, just the author's interpretation.

and furthermore, i said,
"you are right. even though he is mistaken, his similitude is still coherent."
i obviously acknowledged the point and coherence of his similitude. your anger really blinds you :\

You're basically saying that you acknowledge that it has nothing to do with it but are focusing on it as a response anyway. Why? He says he likes a quote in a certain context and then specifically explains the exact context he's talking about and you argue that the context is "incorrect" (?) because it didn't happen like that, all the while he tells you it doesn't matter to him what happened because he doesn't believe it happened at all. I don't understand why you'd frame the bit that he specifically tells you to ignore?
