I see there are many different types, does anyone have one they would recommend? I'm not trying to spend over $300, but willing to go higher it would just mean waiting longer to save. Was scrolling through a lot of reviews and should it be GTG or IPS or what lol... I have a gtx 960 and will probably be going 1080p.

So you prefer IPS? The one I have in cart is this one:

I was surfing the ones on newegg first, but it seems that amazon has better prices on some things. I've heard bad things about dell, so I prefer to stay away from the brand. I think this looks like the best quality for the money, but are there any red flags on this monitor to you?

That's like half the cost of my desktop... maybe one day when I upgrade my gfx card ill get something this size , but it would probably need to be wall mounted
Cokefag do you think a 960 would be good enough for 2k like that one without any problems gaming? I'm concerned about some stuff I've read.

A budget of 300 dollars for a 22 inch monitor is quite a lot. I recently got a 21,5 inch monitor for 100 euro (was in promotion though, think the original price was 150). The only thing that sucks about it is the stand, which can't be moved and is tilted back as if it's made for people with low desks and high chairs. Which I don't get because then your legs wouldn't fit under your desk.
So my advice is, if you're willing to spend the extra buck, better put it towards a monitor with a movable stand instead of one with a slightly better screen. Especially if you're buying it online. |

yes ips/pls have better color and viewing angles. Also dells r fine.

lol dont get anything higher than a 1080p. a 960 will struggle unless u play easy games like lol.

one thing i dont like about this monitor is the tacty stand and the lack of vesa mounts. Vesa mounts save alot of room on ur desk and gives alot more freedom on where ur shit goes. However if these arent deal breakers go for it

I already went though wall mounting with my surrounds and hit a lot of concrete, so some screws never went in fully and were a real pain. It goes real easy in the drywall, but the placement I wanted was right into concrete. Still there's another quarter inch or so for my l and r front speakers, but they hold up pretty if a little angled. I also prefer this stand's design over other regular ones I've seen because it's unique. I haven't bought it yet, so I'm still up for consideration on other monitors around this price and size because I need to pay the comcast bill.
