Good day all.

Do you guys know of any tools that can allow me to know the address range of the heap, stack, program executable of a java program? Would be great if I can also know the address range of the garbage collector as well?

I have tried jvisualvm - doesn't suit my purpose. Though I get to see the size of eden, S0, S1 and old gen. I need address range.

I need to know the address range so that my scanning range can be surgical and targeted. Not scanning code address range (or for that matter, the whole range) when I am looking for data in the heap, would really make sense.

Thank you!

Hi all.

I am trying to provide a self answer to my question.

Does the view->memory regions provide the answers that I am looking for? i.e. the address range of the heap?

If so, I would really appreciate if some kind guy can provide some explanation on allocation protect, state and protect.

Thank you!
