They asked about my experience and told me the experience they are looking for. Very different stuff. |
give it a shot. Its very rare for companies to find a perfect candidate. Usually they just take someone who isnt retarded and train them into the position

They would, except in this case it's a 1-year substitution for someone and they need someone to fill the missing guy's place asap
