|
|
i'm playing Zombies, in offline mode. for Call of Duty: Black ops 3
i'm trying to do either one of two things
1)get unlimited abili8ty to sprint, to make traveling the map less of a bother
2)give myself the gumball "in plain sight" in unlimited supply
so far i have succesfully given myself infinite health, and all the points i could want.
i'm running into a couple of problems.
1)sprinting has an unknown initial value. i was able to narrow it down to like 2, but they did nothing...even when i froze it.
so i'm having trouble finding it, maybe i should have seen what wrote to those addresses...
but i won't be able to find them again because of problem 2
problem 2) this is the real show stopper. i set to "unknown value" hit scan. then i sprint until i'm out of breath, pause the game, and change the value to "decreased" and hit scan....the green progress bar for the scan doesn't move. ever
now it wasn't doing this 100% of the time, because originally i was able to narrow it down...even though i never found the address the scan at least worked. now however, i can't scan anything that isn't an exact value else the scan just gets stuck.

Set the game on total minimum settings (everything on low or disabled, window mode, 800x600)
In CE set a path of temp folder on different drive (settings->scan settings), with at least 50GB space available.
Also, instead of "unknown value" try "value between" 0 and 1000

holly cow batman, 168GB folder on my SSD. ah well i got a 3 TB hhd, bring it on cheat engine
update:
another snaggle that's really mucking my day is cheat engine doesn't seemt o do a good job comparing to it's last scan. i scanned for unchanged values, and got like 200,000 results. then i did something in game and scanned for changed values and got an even bigger number
update:
i think i may have finally found it. i started wit unkown because 1 -1000 didnt work
but i started with unkown, sprinted, and then scanned for increased value because decreased didn't work
update:
freezing these numbers while printing does nothing. i freezed them as a group, wonder if that was a no no...
update:
try and try i can't find the stamina, as time flys i must go to do other things. could use more help
is it possible that even if i found the address it would do nothing until i find the point it was accessed from?

Bo3 has unlimited stamina in it. You can always sprint forever, if you want to find movement speed there is an easier way to do it. It's different for zombeis and MP. In MP go to customs and then set your specialist to overdrive. Freeze your specialist value at full so that overdrive lasts forever. Before activating overdrive, scan for unknown. Then go back in game and activate overdrive, scan for increased value. Then set your overdrive value to 0 so that it deactivates. Search for decreased value. Then repeat the process of scanning for increased, then decreased, until you only have the g_speed dvar value.

If not between "0 and 1000" then try "0 and 10000".
What types did you try? 4byte, 8byte, float (single), double.
About needed free space, here is what DarkByte (author of CheatEngine) wrote in other older thread:
| Dark Byte wrote: | Unknown initial value will make a copy of the game on the harddisk. (The .first file)
Next scan will first copy that to an .undo file so you can undo the scan before it actually starts the scan (usually it does that on the background, but if you click next scan before it is done, ce will have to wait for that)
So if the game uses 6GB ram, it's going to eat up at least 12GB diskspace
Then depending on the variable type each result found takes up 16 bytes or at least 24 for the all type
So, 200,000,000 results(not unthinkable) can take up 4.5gb diskspace
So, 12+4.5 seems about right
These files will get removed when cheat engine closes normally, or they get deleted after a week
There is a setting you can use to specify your own temp foldet location |

| I also wanted to mention that the dvar "g_speed" has a default value of 190 and never changes, so you can't use any form of increase, decrease method to obtain the g_speed value by itself.

this is for zombies, not MP.
which i don't understand how BO3 has unlimited sprint, because in zombies you def run out of breath
still, maybe there was some sneakier way they keep track of a players stamina...i just don't know how to find it.
i used 4 byte, because health and money seem to be stored that way.
i did "all" once, and narrowed it down but like my other attempts...it made no difference when i froze the values.
i just don't know what i'm missing. I've "narrowed it down" several times now to a set of values that def change only while sprinting, but freezing them made no difference. though it did break my game after 60 seconds

When you're looking for g_speed there are probably going to be about 800-900 results with the same value. g_speed NEVER changes.
Here is g_speed for you.
0x154CFADC0
Stamina is probably a float, but I don't remember. Use previous CoDs as reference for this one.
To find stamina, you should probably buy staminup because that increases your stamina, then go down, scan for a decreased value, then buy it again and scan for increased, etc...

yea i tried the stamina thing, that didn't work either. it narrowed down to like 9 or something but in the end freezing those values didn't make me run forever
i'm new to doing this stuff so maybe i've found it several times already but dunno how to make the system work.
so i just...what do i do with the address exactly?
ima try the stamina thing again with a float this time. maybe i'll get it

Click on "Add Address Manually" then paste that. That's your run speed. Scan for a float.
Scan for a float of "1"
Then buy stamin up, and the value will change to "1.3", but use a changed value for now.
Then down yourself, scan for 1, then buy staminup again, by now you should see some values changing between 1 and (presumably) 1.3.
Try a couple of addresses. They should be around the static mark (the green addresses).
Once you find it, that is the function, setMoveSpeedScale();
Set the value to whatever you want. This doesn't increase your stamina, because there is no stamina value, but this increases how far you can move before your sprint runs out.

i've moved on from the stamin thing. i might come back to it another day
i've moved onto gumballs. i've found the address/value that lets me roll for as many gumballs as i want. it's a Boolean just 1 is for yes i can buy a gum and 0 for no i can't.
i clicked "find what writes to this address" and hit the gumball machine. 1 thing popped up and i clicked "replace"
when i restart the game it doesn't work though.
i tried clicking on "more information" and did a hex search on that information.
3 addresses came up, so i manually added each one after clicking "pointer" and 2 of the gave "??" but the first one gave a value of 0, and had a different address than that of the boolean.
which i don't understand, the pointers address should lead right back to the one that lets me buy gum right?

| Black Ops 3 has all static addresses. What's writing to that boolean is a gsc function that you should not modify. If you have the boolean that's the only value you need.
