It seems that values cannot be changed at all (they don't change--there's no effect on them, not even freezing them) and speed hack (built-in to CE) doesn't do anything. Things can be "found," but cannot be changed. Is this normal?
Any ideas? Thanks.

Enable kernelmode read/write process memory in settings extra
Then reopen the process
Execute this lua code

dbk_writesIgnoreWriteProtection(true)

And you should be able to edit it
If you mean it changes back after using it, make sure you're not connected to the internet, as it won't work in online games
Alternatively, run ceserver inside the emulator as root and then connect to that

The values constantly changing isn't an issue (I know it has to do with online and all), but they can't even be written.

i am very sorry for the message. i typed in file comment xD. *shoots self
i have this same problem. and whats weird is that i find two addresses whenever i do scans for my current gold in Adventure Town. its not online. the lua script you gave did not work.

With that script change the memory in the memoryview window, not the addrreslist
