I just looked this shit up on amazon why the fuck is it so expensive like wtf it isn't even put together it's just molded plastic and nothing else
maybe they include little paint wells which is like penny paint from china
a full squad kit should be $5 tops plus shipping, not $40

Its an expensive hobby because they are collectible figures and highly detailed ones. maybe it doesn't translate as well in the picture, but look around. Those figures are really small, yet they have a lot of detail.
its not a kids toy, its for adults thus it is more expensive.
that being said, there are cheap ones.

I buy prepainted figures, I always mess up the painting. I tried a couple of times ... just made a mess.
