How do I cheat?

Hi, I'm attempting to use cheat engine on the witcher 3 to increase the amount of money my character has. The first scan goes fine, but when I try to scan for the second value after selling or buying something, it doesn't display anything. Am I doing something wrong? Let me know if you need any more information.

perhaps it's the wrong variabletype. (try all)

and sometimes you need to exit the buy/sell screen for the values to take effect
