I'm having this problem with AoBscanning. I'm using a VB.NET template and the Aobscan + injection does work on other games but I noticed something with some games. In the memory viewer some games do display the EXE file, in these cases my Aobscan does work.

The games I'm having problems with are the one which only show an address without an exe name. See the attachments for what I mean.

This is my code:

Code:
 Mem.Inject(Mem.AobScan("game.exe+0", &HF000000, "89 48 78 E8 F2 F3 94 EE 8B C8 8B 45 F0"), "B9 63 00 00 00 89 48 78 E8 83 47 0C FE", "89 48 78 E8 F2 F3 94 EE", True)

What am I doing wrong? I tried almost anything but it drives me crazy. How to I need to deal with them? I know my template works for sure because I have tested it with other games.

These are the one which do work. As you can see the process name is shown.

If that AobScan function works like the one here, then the address you search for must be in a module. I'm pretty sure it will fail for stuff that's not in a module. I don't know anything about vb.net, though, so I can't help you out any more than that.

Hmmm a workaround is to just use a pointerscan. This is a mono.dll game. In the past I dealt with a game like this and I solved it with a pointerscan.
