IMO, if we're going to have guns, and it looks like guns are here to stay, we should just have mandatory gun education for everyone.

Yeah, I love Switzerland's policy. If anyone wanted to invade that country, they would literally have to fight every household.

And yeah, that's true, America needs reform in education. America needs reform all around, but unless you have money, you can't make anything happen, and most people with money put that money to work trying to make them more money instead of doing something worthwhile.

Shout out to Bill Gates though, that man throws his money at a lot of good shit.

I have taken a few gun courses over the past few years. Most of the time spent in gun courses literally are just talking about how to store deer meet and shit. Maybe only 15-20% of the time actually dedicated to gun education.

From my experience, I learned much more outside of the classes than I did in them. For me, they were a waste of time.

most people don't even know the phrase "trigger discipline" or the difference between a magazine and a clip, or what a silencer actually does, they've been desensitized by the media into thinking guns are a joke. yet these same people would want us to continue to have our guns. regardless of ANY political topic, education on that topic is the main factor contributing to its debate. if people we're actually educated on these things (and our political system itself), most of these issues would be completely different
