Cheat Engine

Hello, so I'm using cheat engine with dolphin emulator and I'm trying to break the process when data is written to a memory region. Normally, I would use the built-in memory breakpoints in dolphin, however for some reason the breakpoints dont break the process even though I can see the value changing. As a workaround, I'm using cheat engine to freeze the process and snag the PC register value at the same time so I can find out which instruction wrote to memory, however even setting a data breakpoint in cheat engine isn't freezing the process!

Again, I can see the value changing yet cheat engine isn't freezing the process. (The value changes every frame).

Please help me out here! Why wouldn't the process freeze? Thanks for your time!
