The world has already plunged into a great debt, especially the United States. The military industrial complex, initially sought to resolve this, ended up not only exacerbating it, but also being the cause of the first economic recession in the 21st century.
The only way the government will ever repay it's loans, is by acquiring the money from the people, through taxation. Eventually the taxes will be too great, and the people will resist. However, because of the lack of military strength from the side of the citizens (which itself would be a result of the military industrial complex), the IRS, having already prepared themselves for military stand-off capabilities, will make the government win.
Eventually, the revolution will lead to the creation of the North American Union, which will then later merge with several European Nations and call themselves the "Soviet States of America". Despite the misnomer, there will be absolutely nothing left-winged or socialist about this new state. Instead, it would be deluged with fascism. There will be subsequent revolutions, but none would be able to advocate the violent overthrow of a corrupt establishment because of The Smith Act that was put in place centuries before "the war". Any potential non-violent dissidents would be put away with help from the National Defense Authorization Act. Anybody who would challenge the blind Nationalism and excessive military force of the new state would be labeled a terrorist by the Patriot Act.
To both you and I, of course, this is only a "conspiracy theory". The problem with conspiracy theories is, sometimes they're true. In this case, my predictions are based off of historical analysis dating back to the Roman Empire.
The solution to this? I intend to move to a country where they cannot find me. There, I will learn to preserve my humanity. I do not plan on having any children. In twenty to thirty years, I will come back and observe life and try to give it one more chance. Until then,
