| I downloaded it, found no combat whatsoever and was entirely confused at the beginning of the game, then uninstalled it and never looked back. Now I don't have time for video games. |

well, there are combat aspects and "life" aspects
Half of the game isn't combat, life skills take fucking AGES to develop, like if you want to max out your life skills you need to spend at least 5 months
combat is pretty unique, its "strategy", some combat skills can take a loooong time to acquire, like all the advanced magics (fucking op as hell)
3 years ago, getting a nice skill would've taken days to months (depending on your knowledge, level and skill)
it's cool because there is no thing such as "max level"
nowdays they made it possible for new ccounts to get into a somewhat decent level wayyy easier than before
character customization is the most in-depth i've seen in any game ever, there's almost a 0% chance of seeing a character like you
there's a nice roguelike aspect to the game (dungeons are randomized and so is equipment)
the story is pretty good, vindictus is a fork of this story
