"First day sales of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm set new records for the franchise.

The new expansion sold more than 3.3 million copies worldwide as of its first 24 hours of release, including digital pre-sales, eclipsing the previous first day record of 2.8 million sold for Wrath of the Lich King, released in 2008."

break previous sale records; be dead game; yeah ok.

again proving how little you know about games. the reason archeblade is based on it is because of the map types and how the battles actually play out. GunZ maps are more suited for its type of gameplay, while I could easily take a battle arena map and it would work fine for archeblade, which it would not for GunZ
I bet you dont know shit about GunZ either, keeping adding more games into the discussion you know nothing about.

the little you know about business.
First day sales means nothing.
The WoW userbase is on 12 million accounts
by the end of 2011 cataclysm had about 5 million sales. it is still not half the userbase. Burning crusade had way more sales, just not as much on the first day. And there is also continuity. As I said previously there is a big sub market of "buy and not play".

archeblade's main game mode is you spawn from one side, other team spawns from the other side. both teams brawl and it is a battle based game.

yes, being the fastest selling pc game and in turn fastest selling MMORPG means nothing. first day sales obviously are not THE most important thing, but when they set such high numbers to make it THE best selling of ALL TIME, it shows just how many people are interested in the game, even though not all of them continue to play it. just because the entirety of the user base is not all playing at the same time does not make it dead or any less sucessful, considering the numbers that guild wars 2 has is much less and if WoW follows its usual pattern then the upcoming expansion will have yet even MORE people buying the expansion. its far from dead.

which map and style is spawned from AoS style games, called battle arenas , theres nothing that makes archeblade any more deserving of the name moba than games like smite and league

AoS is the correct term.
MOBA would be an under category of AoS.

Defense of the Ancients: Allstars, Ninjas on Battle.net, Hands of Sorrow Knight, Requiem of the Gods and Sacred Masters of the Arctic.
They're all AoS and they all categorize themselves as AoS.

Something that would still be considered an AoS but chooses to categorize itself as a MOBA because it's "hip" would be:
DotA 2, League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth and SMITE.

TL;DR gogodr is wrong, brolock and Connor are right, Cryoma is a fucking retard.

AoS stands for Aeon of Strifes which is a starcraft mod map (I might be wrong on this one, never played it nor saw it) is not a category.
even I would accept a MOBA wrong categorization over categorizing many games under another game.

it would be insulting to do that. equivalent would be to categorize all MMORPGs under World of Warcraft. Which is just plain wrong.

Aeon of strife could mean 'life of conflict' in a literal meaning, which would fit too, and if we all called them 'Defense of the ancient' games then it could also work, if we called all of the bases we attack ancients, which doesn't work because all the games have changed them from being 'ancients' to something else

No, clasifying games under another game is insulting and I wont take and I doubt any other developer would take that neither.

mate
who the fuck dies over half the times they kill shit
who does that and posts a screen

if you know a little of tower defense.
this is what happened:
I had to break 5/6 towers by myself , 2 phoenixes and kill the minotaur (the last "tower")
Somehow I managed to do all that shit and we won after I completely soloed the fucking thing.
If you did this in league of legends I'd be impressed, but in Smite this truly just is not an impressive accomplishment. Especially when both teams only have the starting characters, artemis is such an easy carry.
bro y u hating on his win against ez bots?
