no i have only used dph to sleep maybe like 5 times in the past 6~ months, I have the same 365 count bottle for a long time now. I reached a different state with dph, I treated it like a psy and you learn crazy shit like how empathetic and sympathetic you can respond to things while on it. it doesn't dumb you down, it just turns off the processing part of your brain letting you experience everything pure as it enters, raw input, and so you react to it instantly. hallucinations are things that are inputs being reacted to instantly instead of processing them. you see spiders because the instant reaction to a pattern on your wall is small crawling things, its instinctive. and the reason you hear the small weird sounds you normally don't in music is because you aren't focusing on lyrics, or patterns, or the rhythm, you are just taking in the entire song all at once.
my hppd isn't too bad, I dont notice things unless i get really tired, and wavy patterns don't happen when I stare at things like curtains or blinds any more. no mental fog, just normal every day tiredness that is combated by nicotine and caffeine

the one i was at in toronto had some of the loudest fucking screamers ever, schizophrenics banging on glass. we had designated smoking times so we figured out the room farthest, cranked the vent and blew right into it (sucking air in) it worked. anyway, no dude psych wards are not quiet, are you stuck in the 50's where they do lobotomies? because the one I went to had fuckin loud people, no amount of seroquil or oxazepam or what ever shit they try to dose you with will keep the blabbering psychos quiet.

Well it's actually because the States is stuck in the 50s when it comes to treatment regarding their mentally ill. I don't think I was "lucky", I think we were both unlucky, but you to a greater extent than I. _________________
