Why does the latest version of Cheat engine 6.4 have a browser malware known as results tab in it ?

No i know its not a virus, it doesn't show up on avast, Just wondering if you even know the effect its having on peoples computers, and its likely why a load of people are getting virus messages.

But results tab is definately a known browser hijacker, its also a pain because it doesn't give me the option to install without results tab, the tick box is greyed out.

This is what happens when you fail to read. Now you will have to read lengthy pages on how to remove the adware/browser hijacker lol

which installer did you use? sourceforge, cnet or cheatengine. org?
and even if a checkbox is grey, do click it. some advertisers just color active checkboxes grey...

I just used Adw Cleaner and clean installed my browser, also I got it from this website.

Still wouldn't let me unclick it, but I just use adw cleaner and that fixed the issue.
