I am playing adventure capitalist on earth thru steam, and it used to work to change the values of the businesses and now I can find them, but when I buy one it doesn't change on the game like it used too. Thanks in advance for any help/info you can provide.

I don't know if this is a recent change, but the value of a business is kept as a series of separate multipliers and all the game displays is the final value. So you'll have to find the individual multipliers.

For example for Car Washes I found this.
26.91026306
Then I bought "Car wash profit x3" and it became this.
30.1826973

Modifying that float to a higher number and then buying one more business (to cause the total value number to visually update) indeed caused the profit per run to skyrocket.

Remember that buying more of a business is one multiplier, while the value of each business is a separate multiplier. When searching for this value, only search increased when you get a bonus in profit for a business via upgrades or hitting a milestone (and make sure it's profit, not speed).

I'm not sure about the multipliers, I just meant the amount of businesses owned. I used to be able to change it to 10k, and it helped build faster, but now I'm stuck and when I tried to change it to a higher value it doesn't. I have found the value for it but when I buy one so the total value will change it only goes up by one that I bought. it used to work and now it wont and I'm not sure if there is something else I can do to fix it possibly.

Those are 4-byte values and if you have many results you should see which one is real.

Or use this table that has a script in it which will cause any purchases of a business to set the count to a really high number.
(You have to buy one business after launching the game first before turning on the script.)

Thank you so much. the script works. I know I'm kinda new with it, but where it had worked before and I was doing the same thing, I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working anymore. thanks again.

Yeah, Rydian gave me the awesome script above and it works like a charm. Very Happy
