I assume any and all prophecies in the bible based on empirical reality come from previous discoveries, from the Egyptians, Jews, and similar tribes of humans that came before Christianity.

from about 3600 years ago. you do know genesis is not christian, right? oh wait, you haven't read anything. how do you propose this knowledge was gained and "made up" when franklin, watson & crick barely figured out DNA 60 years ago?

The bible consists of the old testament and the new testament. Stop questioning others knowledge, and maybe you'll learn something.

good job dodging my question. you might as well just admit you don't know how to answer, there is /nothing/ wrong with me asking questions.
unlike you -- i have /read/ the bible and many other texts. you have admitted to being willfully ignorant, and having read none.
yet you still criticise like you have some clue, so i'm wondering how you keep your head in the sand when faced with so many divine revelations and scientific knowledge reveled and rediscovered thousands of years later when the technology was invented to allow for discovery.

In all honesty, what have you gained from human conjecture? What has unfalsifiable history and spirituality done for you? Get a grip, think for yourself, the bible and alike will be nothing but history in the years to come. Regardless of what you say about divine revelations and scientific knowledge, it doesn't support the bible. The bible, throughout it's years of revisions and republishings in order to maintain influence on the masses, has TEMPORARILY supported reality. You are a fool to think otherwise.

and you who has admitted to not understanding anything about what secular people believe, along with using horrific stereotypes and other fallacious "reasoning" (hint: fallacious means it's not legitimate reasoning, it is faulty logic, and therefore unfounded in reality), apparently do? lol, okay kyle.

I don't have to accept anything you say to me. I have a good enough memory and log of shit you have said to determine whether or not you're even credible in conversations regarding topics like this, nice try guy. Keep insulting my inability to accept religious doctrine, please. I'm clearly handicapped on some level.

You look for a conclusion, only to find that there literally is no conclusion, only continuation and perpetual thought provocation. You're a fool and are led to believe that human made religious doctrine based on false pretenses can help explain reality. The only way to confirm ANY of the cases made in the bible and alike, would be if there is physical evidence. Sadly there is hardly any, and anything that does support reality in the bible, is because of it's revisionist history. The only real explanations that support reality that we have are based scientific theories and explanations followed by the data that is measured in empirical reality. The only thing close to a spiritual connection in the universe we have is with drugs and chemical reactions, and so it should be studied scientifically and with great respect in regards to finding meaning in the world, our bodies, and selves mentally. No western religion is based on this, therefore they all fail.

no, misconstruing words again. and more strawmen.
>The only way to confirm ANY of the cases made in the bible and alike, would be if there is physical evidence.
literally doesn't understand faith.
>The only real explanations that support reality that we have are based scientific theories and explanations followed by the data that is measured in empirical reality.
blatantly ignored so much of my points about divine knowledge we couldn't have possibly known at the time
>with great respect in regards to finding meaning in the world, our bodies, and selves mentally.
literally has not discovered what hardly any religions are about. literally so many religions are about this it's funny, i've brought this point several times that you don't really understand what religion is about.

If a religion has a list of rules to live by, then that is mental slavery and doesn't support empirical reality. Only deemed utopia. Humans do not require religious doctrine to reach a singularity of peace(which isn't going to happen, not when we live in a boundless universe), they need the ability to think critically and clearly, and with discipline to the needs of the now and future.
