Actually, it's been used since the 30s in Switzerland as an alternative to morphine. The pictures you see on the internet are of street drugs that contain Krokodil but are not synthesized the same way and contain a variety of other drugs mixed with them. Dehydration is neither fun nor orgasmic. The euphoria that you feel is psychological, and is associated with the content of your trip. In cases of a psychedelic crisis, people do not report euphoria or a "body high". What I was talking about were physical effects, not psychological. My point was not to say that LSD was "bad", because we simply cannot use a "black and white" dichotomy when it comes to drugs. Go back to what I said, "have fun, enjoy your life, just remember to stay hydrated, control your setting, don't get too carried away, and don't mix psychedelics with other substances". It's possible to have a stable experience as long as you are respectful of the substance's physical and psychological effects, and know the setting you should be in (don't drive under the influence, etc). I absolutely do not discourage the use of LSD for self-exploration or entertainment purposes.
However, I will not retract on my statements regarding MXE. I believe it is a very dangerous substance that I highly suspect to be readily toxic to the bladder. I understand I'm not a medical professional, but the conclusion I make is on the basis that MXE is an analogue of both ketamine and PCP, ketamine being well documented to damage the bladder and PCP has been reported enough times to cause neurotoxic effects (Olney's Lesions). This is a severe form of irreversible brain damage caused by prolonged use of NDMA antagonists like PCP, Ketamine, DXM, and MXE.

I fail to see the purpose in irrelevantly disclosing the statement about the substance's inexpensive nature. Desomorphine (Street name Krokodil) is also cheap, acquired easily using readily available ingredients, such as paint thinners and other poisons mixed with codeine, a substance found in many cough syrup formulas on the streets, and available as prescription cough medicine in many places. It has been classified by the internet as the deadliest illicit drug.
Many tests that are deemed immoral for practice on humans are carried out on mice, because of the closeness of mice with humans in respect to DNA. 95% of all lab animals are mice and rats. Do keep in mind, however, that the tests I referred to were carried out on rats, not mice, therefore I was not extrapolating mice with humans.
They even have genetically altered organisms that have genes similar to those that cause human diseases, called transgenic mice. Much of what we know about diabetes, cancer, cystic fibrosis, AIDS, seizures, deafness, respiratory illness, etc etc has been brought to us because of decades of research on rodents.
The only way to prove Olney's Lesions in a human's brain is to take a brain of a heavy ketamine user and dissect it. There are people that deny Olney's Lesions, but they are the same people who try to make mundane claims like "Nicotine is not addictive" and "DMT trips are aliens". The only reason methoxetamine hasn't been shown to cause the lesions is because it's relatively new to the public, being picked up by the press since 2010, and Dr. Olney's experiments were carried out in 1989 on more well known drugs.

MXE does not have an established safety profile; while saying that MXE causes olney's lesions may be considered fearmonging-based conjecture, there is also no evidence to suggest that it does NOT cause olney's lesions. mind you, we are dealing with research chemicals here with no established safety profile and little to no medical literature regarding them. it is pointless to argue either point, as any evidence available regarding the compound is purely based on personal/second-hand anecdotal evidence and extrapolation.
please do correct me and call me a faggot if I am wrong here: AFAIK olney's lesions have only been recorded in experiments done on rats - not on humans.
