That's what I've been trying to tell him since my first post. Methoxetamine has very little documentation because it is relatively new and research regarding the substance is minimal. It's almost the same for DXM, though it was FDA approved in 1958, it's effects at recreational doses have not been adequately evaluated by medical professionals.
Remember, heroin was once considered safe too. And by safe, I don't mean, a bunch of screwed up junkies suffering from cognitive dissonance. I mean, FDA approved, prescribed to people for pain (It was made by the Bayer company after all). Derivatives are still used for medicinal purposes today, but it's not the same as recreational use that was tolerated by the government and medical professionals for many years back in the day.
Yes, Dr. Olney's experiments were carried on rats, but that's because it would be unethical to carry them out on human beings. The only way to legitimately prove the lesions on human beings is to take a ketamine addict and dissect his brain. Unfortunately, there are several instances of people who actually do serve as proof that they may have fried their brains by prolonged use of dissociatives. But anecdotal evidence will not serve well on a forum where people tend to exaggerate on a daily basis.
Summary of discourse: No evidence has emerged from people being victims of the long term detrimental consequences of methoxetamine on the brain, because we lack the technology to observe the lesions in a living human being, therefore we use rats, due to their closeness with human DNA. _________________

every person i know that was a truepcp addict not like someome who did it once or occasionally but legit pcp addicts have permenant brain damage and its very apparent. theyre dumb as bricks and slow as fuck with whatever theyre doing. theyd have trouble working fast food.
yeah dissociative abuse can fucking destroy the brain, it's not far fetched to say that even abusing ketamine and dxm will damage your brain. abuse =/= using 300mg dxm once a week or what ever or one vile of K you're not going to go retarded
but be one of the pcp fiends dustin knows and then you'll turn gay and tarded _________________

idk i thought i remembered reading once that u need to take like 5000mg dxm every day for a year to get olneys brain holes tho?
The reason they used such a large amount on the experiments is because they simply lacked the time and budget to keep administering a moderate (from a recreational perspective) dose of DXM to the rats every single day. The point isn't that a huge dose can cause lesions, it's the fact that the substance can, at a certain dose, cause these lesions, which other drugs cannot. For example, a dose that high for a drug like, say for instance, caffeine, would not cause Olney's lesions. Heart attack? Sure. Panic attack? Sure. Death? Sure. But not Olney's lesions. That was the purpose of the experiment. _________________

im sure vitamin c will cause lesions if you take a shitton of it. you might not even be able to say that, with such a high dose necessary, and such prolonged exposure, that the substance is /not/ directly responsible for the lesions. even water will kill you if you take a shitton of it. and ketamine doses for clinical purposes is muuuch higher than what is used recreationally. it is basically a moot, irrelevant, purposeless conjecture -- because no one is going to fucking use that much, and it is still NOT. CONFIRMED. TO. HAPPEN. IN. HUMANS. so don't fucking say it does????
and for you to extrapolate from /dxm/ ///in MICE/// to /mxe/ ///in HUMANS/// is beyond fucking stupid. the subjects & the substances are much different. even if they're dissociatives and mammals.
You won't survive Vitamin C toxicity to suffer from the chronic psychological damage (if any). If you put this list next to symptoms of DXM toxicity, you would notice a lot more psychological symptoms for DXM, because it is screwing with your brain.
Yes, excessive water intake will kill you. Yes, excessive caffeine intake will kill you. The difference is, your body will tell you when to stop, there's a much smaller chance of an accident. _________________

definition of "lesion":
a region in an organ or tissue that has suffered damage through injury or disease, such as a wound, ulcer, abscess, tumor, etc.
vitamin c is an acid. are you saying that an acid will not burn you? o k

I meant Olney's Lesions. Look at the context. _________________
