It installs some run command to open nextbestgame.org on computer startup

It disables my registry so i cant remove it.

What the fuck is wrong with these russian faggots?

Install stupid crap on my system, fine, but disabling my registry? Thats just crossing the line and unforgivable...

I am not sure what you mean by disabled registry (terminating regedit?), but you can try to run msconfig and turn off every suspicious application. Then kill it.

Are you sure it's from cheatengine.org and not something else? There are a few cheat engine downloads out there with extra crap (mainly when advertised compatible with online games)
And if you did get it from CE, what offer did you install ? (Cheat Engine does not install anything extra without consent, but perhaps one offer installed another one which installed the crap you're having. But to be able to track that down I need the exact name of the primary offer)

And don't forget the browser exploits. Often when people are searching for game hacks they visit some bait sites that will infect your system, and later they will then find Cheat Engine (try searching for Cheat Engine on youtube, almost all recent videos (1 hour or less) are malware links)
Edit: You're using Firefox 35 (and update 36, 37 and 38 changelogs do mention some severe exploit fixes)

I know for a fact it was cheat engine, sure it does install some adware mostly to support it itself and i understand but when i ran the installer i was pretty certain i had none of it checked.

Next day i startup my computer and that website pops up.

Although i removed it with an alternative registry editor. Thank god.

either way my entire registry wont even run. regedit inside msconfig does nothing. Executing regedit.exe does nothing either. Cursor shows the wait circle for a second and then stops. Task manager also shows regedit running and then closes immediately. Re-Enable did nothing either.

I know cheatengine for as long as i remember and was surprised it still works with even the newest games so i tried it with witcher 3. Thats really the only reason i downloaded it. I also downloaded it from the main website. a giant green button...

I just installed CE on a fresh windows using the installer on main page and none of the crap you mention has showed up (i said no to the two offers, some ad-aware thing and avg free crap).

Or maybe CE hates noobs and somehow installs malware for you guys Laughing
