Ok. I'm just wondering on what you mean by the 2 f's after hex and can you expand on aob?

FF is highest byte value, equal to 255 decimal. I tend to prefer working in hex. If you don't want to use hex, just use decimal.

AOB is array of bytes. You can use it to inject code in a target where the code shifts. Instead of injecting at a specific address, each time, you can inject at a specific array of bytes (hexadecimal).

Like I said, though, I changed my scripts to incorporate AOB on DW3, and couldn't get the health to stick with every character...but, I really didn't spend that much time investigating the issue.

Just to inform you, Dw3 is just really a rather more jacked up version of dynasty warriors 2. Like the difference between modern warfare 2 and 3 if you get my point. I've noticed that someone has been able to replace your character with a box on dynasty warriors 2 by using Action replay. Not just the box generals but actual units too like peons, majors and even to my surprise a gate captain which I would imagine at first would be extremely buggy even if it were possible.

I will be looking at more and more tutorials and try and learn this stuff, I can do the basics. Not going to lie.

What would you recommend to do to find out my allied generals individual morale and then change it?

Again, assuming each officer/general has their own moral value (do you know, for sure?), I would start by trying to determine what causes that value to increase/decrease. If there is an indicator of sorts (e.g. morale bar or numeric value), it should be quite easy. Nonetheless, once you figure out what causes that value to increase/decrease (be it kill count or something else), you can focus on performing a search each time you think that value has changed. Once you have narrowed it down to a single value (for a specific officer), you can do a pointer scan and/or investigate whether or not an instruction writes or accesses all morale values and globally change as many or as few as you like.

Regarding the character block/structures, it is possible that changing a single value will give you the result that you are looking for...but it is not probable. If you find it, good for you.

As far as the DW games being similar...they all are, minus a few exceptions. If I had to guess, Omega Force/Koei will probably ride that wave as long as they can.

Hello again. I was computerless for a while so I haven't been posting. Anyway I have tried to find a specific generals morale address and I was able to narrow it down to about 4. I simply done it by first of all searching for a the byte value that is the officers morale count and then by narrowing the results down by searching for unchanged values and then decreased values by 1.

Anyway, I tried doing code disect/structuring? as well as the pointer scan and it seems like on all of the addresses that the values were constantly changing and I wasn't able to find a value for the morale. Also I'm just wondering, what does offset mean in pointer scanning?

I'd be very greatful if u could help

Do not waste time with pointer scanning or dissecting structures until you know you have a proper address. If you are having problems will values changing too quickly etc., make use of the speed feature that is integrated in to Cheat Engine and slow the game down. Regarding an explanation of pointers/offsets - just google it or search this forum.
