Cheat Engine

Hi all. I would like to ask for help from more experienced cheat engine users than I am. I play Angry Birds Epic game. I did view many tutorials over on youtube and followed tutorial on this site. I found address with value of my gold coins which also reflects coins count when I gain some or loose some. It is float value. When I change the value, it changes automatically back in few seconds and my gold coins count does not change.
On every tutorial I watched, people were able to change even the float values in other games, but I am stuck here. Can anybody help me with it?
