From what I heard, it's easier than the souls game (but I guess prettier?).
So, if you found those games to be easy, I don't see how this'll be an exception.

i dont care if its prettier, heard the framerate was shit, its probably in 900p too because ps4 lol.
i guess theyre making the games easier and faster paced to reach a broader audience. casuals ruin everything again

To be honest, I saw some gameplay of it, both legit and speed runs, and it looks like a very meh game. I don't know why it has all the praise that it does..
As for the PS4 being weak, while it is outdated to PC standards, it's by no means a weak machine. I mean, you got to admit The Last Of Us looked amazing and ran at 1080/60; also, GTA IV (while not as pretty) runs at a smooth 1080/30. It's mainly the lack of optimizations made by the game company. They can get away with it on the PC because lol just buy better hardware.

directx 12 will allow better optimization on PC.
GTA and Last of Us are last gen games, I would HOPE they can run 1080p 60fps on a new console, and 30fps is unacceptable. the ps4 gpu is 2 or 3 generations behind, its weak as fuck.

Currently playing. Not as deep as souls games, no enchanting or magic etc. much less weapons but they all feel significant so that's a plus. Atmosphere and lore/story are great though. Regular enemies aren't really challenging but the boss fights are good. Remember that with the focus on mobility now, all the bosses have much higher mobility.
All in all it works well and I definitely enjoy it. Still many deaths and good boss fights but I'll still be playing dark souls 2 when I want to actually make a build. It's funny that you bring out the whole "casuals" argument whether or not you're serious about it. People bitched and moaned about dark souls 1 being affected by casuals, just get over it and enjoy the game

get over it and enjoy the game? theyre taking the game i enjoyed and taking out key aspects that made me enjoy it. i will complain, but I wont say that I dont enjoy the games still, if the games got harder, I would enjoy them more but I can understand that they would make less money because the audience for hard games is smaller
