Heyo, so I've been trying to make a spell that will damage the player in Dark Souls 2.

I'm thinking that I've been going about it the wrong way. I've been opening spells in the memory viewer and changing values, and I've figured out how to do just about anything with a spell excluding modifying it's damage and changing who the spell affects.

I'm comparing spells to each other, such as the Sudoku buff that takes a bit of your health, to great combustion; still, I can't find anything that has to do with targeting.

So, how can I go about changing who the spell targets?
