Cat allergies?
Basically I live in a house with my Grandma, and she has a cat. I'm going to inhert the house. The problem: My gf has a pretty bad cat allergy.
Now I know allergens stay around for years and years, is there any ways to deal with this? If in the future I wanted her to move in this would be impossible unless I un-cat the house.
And no I don't want to sell the house and buy another - I put money into this house and I really like it.
I know about immunotherapy or whatever it is but supposedly it takes years and its effectiveness is hit or miss

i became allergic to my cat about a year AFter i got her
now i sneeze whenever she jumps on my bed while im sleeping

Beat me to it. I'm allergic to cats, but all I need before I visit a friends place who has cats is some zyrtec or similar allergy medicine/antihistamines. My eyes get red and watery, my nose runs and makes me sneeze and my throat clogs up when I don't take it, so I always remember to.

do allergy drops. It takes a while but in half year or so you won't have allergies forever.
