it tastes like beer. I'm positive it isn't though. should i keep drinking it?

It is absolutely possible for juice to spontaneously ferment. Coincidentally, wild yeasts can produce dramatically more potent products (eg brewer's yeasts tend to be chosen for flavor, speed, flocculation, viability, etc instead of just alcohol tolerance). It doesn't happen too often with supermarket juice because such juice is often pasteurized and treated with preservatives that inhibit the growth of yeast and other organisms, but if it's happened for you and it tastes good then it's probably safe to drink. A good-tasting fermented product is generally one where the desired organisms thrive to the extent that other organisms (even brewer's yeast has some contaminants) cannot.

I wouldn't drink the dregs - they'll probably give a bellyache, but I'd probably drink the rest of the happy accident w/o too much concern. Or, maybe, leave it alone until it becomes some awesome vinegar.

Used to happen to the juice they gave us in middle school.

that happens with sugar that is melted in the water that gets in touch with air.
