My S3 is still in use, yet 2 prior batteries are not (one OEM, one not)
(one of my GalaxyS3 batteries died, and the other replacement stop holding as much of a charge as when I got it (died after 2 hours), I've had 5 batteries in total; which only cost me $60 in total + 3 wall chargers.(I could have paid way less for all 5 ie:$30)
Another thing people don't realise is you can get larger capacity batteries this way as well ie my original battery was Li-Ion 2100 mAh and the current replacement in it is a 3900mAh that is a massive difference and I essentially upgraded my phone for $20.
3. Defreezing a device by battery removal.
4. Hot-swapping again because when traveling you don't have to worry about your device needing an adapter for outlets ect
also imagine this scenario not that it happens often
you are charging your battery with a foreign adapter and it has wrong voltages ect and causes your battery to explode or at least to malfunction
would you rather it fuck up the wall charger or your entire device...
ik some of you already said some of the above but i was more of stating why
also power banks are useless shit compared to RB
you are carrying another object that's not needed and usually larger than the original device itself, you might as well just plug into a wall because you have to keep the device pluged into the bank while its charging,
also you have to charge the bank itself
in other words unless you must have a phone that does not have a RB
and you are going in the woods for a few days
power banks are literally 100% useless
and at ad where you said the contacts and battery malfunctioned thats just poor design and or a bad apple and probabbly most likely covered under warranty |
because with removable batteries you dont have to carry the extra battery itself and you dont also have to charge that battery
often powerbanks can charge the same battery multiple times, so even though it may be a bit larger its much more useful. just put it in your backpack and charge phone when youre not using it, plus you dont need an actual outlet, thats a bonus in case electricity goes out in an emergency |
