I literally think people just make up batshit crazy stuff in order to stir up some attention. Everyone has questions about the events the conspiracies are based off, so the people just prey on the weak minded who will believe anything that seems legitimate on the internet. I don't believe the illuminati is what people are making it out to be, but I do believe it exists. The illuminati is a conspiracy in itself in regard to what people believe on the topic that they read online most likely from someone with no credible sources. I would say the illuminati is much more like the KKK, and people just blame everything evil in the world to the illuminati when people are just corrupt. Now that all this stigma has been given to the illuminati people, especially rappers, see it as a way to become more famous and support the illuminati conspiracies by mentioning it when they probably would never be able to affiliate with the real group.

I 100% believe this. conspiracy theories by nature aren't incorrect, and there are some that actually have been proven to exist and many more than are very plausible, but the extreme ridiculous ones are pushed by the Illuminati agenda themselves to make the credible ones lose all their credibility
