Most of the security issues are because enterprises, which often lag in applying updates, regularly run outdated versions of Flash. Sure, you have neckbeards from fagforums.net find exploits now and again, but those get patched very soon after its uncovered.
The real problem is that flash lingers like a bad cold, when it is a dead end for web developers and obsolete. Flash was designed to work with a keyboard and a mouse, not a touch screeen. Most webbrowsing is done on tablets, phones and other devices. PC isnt king anymore.
I know youtube.com deploys html5 video players for most of its chrome users, but other browsers commonly run the flash version of the video player, which might be the sole reason why flash is still lingering today. |

i said IF it was a botnet. reason being its not owned by google who most likely already has a ton of your information, which if you were trying to prevent, you wouldn't want them to have access to 100% of every webpage you browse via your browser
