It's so you can switch accounts in order to access different bookmarks and stuff you have saved on the specific account.

| chrome was perfect on my mac at first, then a few months ago flash started freezing occasionally then crashing. Then other weird loading issues. Switched to safari its been fine idk

Dunno what your issues are, for me Chrome runs perfect. I haven't recalled any issues that it's given me in months.

Using Microsoft botnet instead of the Google botnet. Rebranded internet explorer ( they really need new name since everybody remembers IE as slow, laggy, unreliable browser.

Firefox has been doing the same thing for me lately. I'm on PC though. Reinstalled it thinking maybe an addon/plugin was causing the problem. It worked fine for a couple days, then the problem came back.

Most of the security issues are because enterprises, which often lag in applying updates, regularly run outdated versions of Flash. Sure, you have neckbeards from fagforums.net find exploits now and again, but those get patched very soon after its uncovered.
The real problem is that flash lingers like a bad cold, when it is a dead end for web developers and obsolete. Flash was designed to work with a keyboard and a mouse, not a touch screeen. Most webbrowsing is done on tablets, phones and other devices. PC isnt king anymore.
I know youtube.com deploys html5 video players for most of its chrome users, but other browsers commonly run the flash version of the video player, which might be the sole reason why flash is still lingering today.
