Hello,

i tried to find the base adress using multi pointers. I found the base adress that doesnt change after restarting the game but these adress does not change the value ingame?

Is the base address allways green and if yes why i can't find the "base address" after several pointers(4++)?

Any clues ?

The base address can be dynamic as well, it is not guaranteed to be static depending on how it is used. For example, a base address could be located within a DLL which can be loaded at a different address each time the process is started. While the appearance may look static like this:
"SomeDllName.dll"+12FF3A

In reality "SomeDllName.dll"'s base address is probably changing everytime you load the process.

Your base could also be located in a dynamically allocated block of memory.

thanks for the help!

Now i used the pointer scan method and after some restarts i got 20 addresses pointing at the same amount of "bread"(ingame). After a pc restart i opened the game and the addresses are correct, but i can't change them ingame.

Is it possible that there is no way to "hack" the game with cheat engine?

Depends on the game. If it is online, then your "bread" is probably handled by the server and altering it locally is going to do nothing. If it is a single player game, then there is a way to hack it, you just have to find it.

i am playing the singel player mode. But i don't understand why the base addresses doesn't change the value ingame?
I thought that if i change the base address the value would not be reseted.
To be precise, if i change the base address nothing happens ingame ...
