use better sounds
the instant it started playing, i closed it
it sounds like amateur chit and you'll never improve if you cant get past that
literally, you can follow every trap song and just use a really overused bass preset and it would sound a lot better, albeit generic, it won't sound like some shit you made when you were 12 and first downloaded a DAW

Yeah I'm in that phase. I started music about six months ago I still don't know anything really about chords and stuff...Anyway thanks for the honest feedback! I'll keep that in mind, better sounds.

Strictly from a mixing perspective, it's poorly equalized and compressed.

That's a pretty solid video, I'll watch it again once I'm actually in FL, but I like how he had a pattern to follow. I probably need to remix all the songs on my soundcloud though knowing I haven't used any compression on any of them :\ Thanks for the help, next I'll need to learn how to properly EQ.

Its real easy you just increase around 100 and decrease 750 and increase 12000
