|
|
I know that it will make the Download and Upload appear faster, but does it actually improve your torrent ratio by continuing to have a large upload even when the downloading ends?
If you have more Upload than Download you get a better ratio. So does the 'fake' high upload count towards the ratio?
There are other 'ratio hack' programs out there, I doubt that they are doing anything more complex than this, right?

The speedhack does not change the amount of bytes you have sent/received. It only changes the time

So how do these 'ratio hack' programs work then?
Are they just finding a value in ram and multiplying it? Many many years ago I tried one and it worked, I got a ton of upload credit.
What I'm saying is it can't be much more complicated than doing it manually in CE.
i.e The tracker is dumb and relies on the data from Utorrent. That's how it's even possible.

Most ratio hacking is done by faking the data sent to the tracker. Assuming the tracker is vulnerable to the methods that are commonly used. If you log the information being sent to the tracker you will see in most cases its a simple web response posting data to the tracker. And in most cases that data is not sanitized, protected, or anything.
You can use a program to reinject the same response with fake data to up your ratio and so on.

Increased speed ratio only appears .
Your net speed is totally controlled by your ISP.

He just wanna cheat "dumb tracker" that relies on the data from the Utorrent.
I still don't think that that's how it works. I still think that tracker will find out somehow. He can just check how much did you upload.
