I'd like to put in a request for a cheat script for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
Hopefully you awesome guys like Technojacker and the other folks can come up with an amazing script like you did for Borderlands 2.
It shouldn't be much work I would think, it's supposed to be almost the exact same engine, just slightly different assets and characters in-game.

I'm sure GIBBED will be picked up later on by whom ever maintains that program. GIBBED has nothing at all to even remotely do with CheatEngine, as far as I'm aware, that's just for modifying save files. CheatEngine scripts modify the game's code in memory.
Since this is CheatEngine forums.. I was referring to the CheatEngine script for it, like the huge one that technojacker and other folks compiled for Borderlands 2. |

It's a bit early to be requesting for this game but i already have it pre ordered and plan on making scripts for it like i did 2. I'll definately be throwing my stuff at techno again like last time. |

I know it's a little early, I just wanted to kinda get an idea and see if there's any plans to do this like we did borderlands 2. So, it's awesome to hear you're prepared |

Moved to General Discussions.
If you want to discuss an upcoming game -> general discussion.
If you want a cheat for a game that you play -> cheat request (and preferably use the template). _________________

This game isn't even out yet, close to 2 months for its release date and you are requesting a table already. You are also pretty sure the game engine will be easy and not a lot of work based on i don't know what because u3 engine is pretty different within builds itself.
People have become funny these days....
PS: A tip...be sure to bump this thread each week you know 2 months is a long time and we may forget it or change plans. _________________

Well the borderlands 2 thread ended up being really big with several hundred pages and lots of contributions.. I just kinda thought someone should get one started for the next game is all. I know there wouldn't be any way to make tables until after it's out, and I wasn't specifically asking for it yet or anything, really. I just kinda thought someone should get it started though, but.. whatever. |

It can be discussed in this section, but the Single player cheat request section is reserved for serious requests. _________________

Yesterday they came out with a new EULA to all players. We have to accept it in order to play. For Borderlands 2 !
Does anyone if its still safe to use CE + Techno´s CTrainers ? Or is it bannable now ?

Should have read it then ?. Anyway, i doubt it as trainers only modify the memory of your computer and that is allowed, reversing/disassembling is forbidden by most games but they are not going to prosecute for that unless you are very unlucky or incur huge damages to them.
There are only a few game companies i know that are anal about single player cheating, most don't even care about that aspect. _________________

Considering that The Borderlands 2, and The BL:TPS Are both steam games, the only way for Gearbox to actively "Ban" anyone would be for the game(s) to use the Steam VAC System (Valve Anti-Cheat) Or some form of PunkBuster. However, since neither Borderlands, nor Borderlands 2 used neither PunkBuster, nor Steam VAC, most likely they will not in this game. I asked over on the gearbox forums if BL:TPS will use Steam VAC, but have not got an answer at the time of writing this reply.
But still, everyone needs to understand. It's a steam game. The game is -NOT- online on gearbox servers like MMORPG's are! Multi-Player in these games are single-hosted games by individuals (Who ever starts the game is the server). So once it is running, Gearbox -HAS NO CONTROL- over who joins and quits a Multiplayer game, Even online games on the internet. It is a direct Server-Client connection each time.
They can not "Ban" someone from cheating. It's physically impossible. The only thing they can do is make it so "Illegal" weapons (weapons that contain impossible part combinations) get deleted when we "zone in" to a game, which they have already done.
Other than that.. no. We can't be "banned" for cheating. We can't be "Banned" for creating items, and we can't be "Banned" for modifying the game while it's running with CheatEngine. |
